Recreational Opportunities

Several city parks and sports facilities are located throughout the city. Pendleton also has two women’s fitness facilities as well as a modern athletic club with an indoor swimming pool, indoor track, weight room, racquetball courts, basketball court, and many other amenities. The public has access to the recreational facilities at Blue Mountain Community College when they are not in use by the students. Pendleton has two golf courses, one is private, the other public.

Pendleton is the gateway to the lakes and forests of the Blue Mountains for recreational camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and skiing etc.
